It was a blast getting to share the magic of Web3 for Brand Marketing and Engagement at WOW Summit in Hong Kong last month as well as continue to share the mission of the NFT Factory's 128 co-founders to build Europe's web3 ecosystem through Paris.
I got to sit down with Lakshmi Devan and talk about all of these things:
🇫🇷 Today, France is the strongest startup ecosystem in Europe...it is the place to build your company. It turns out, a lot of the web3 you know, is French: Ledger, The Sandbox, Sorare, Arianee, Dogamí, RTFKT, Kiln, BlackPool Finance, POAP Studio, Exclusible....and so much more #FrenchTech on the way.
🟩 The NFT Factory's mission, both as a 70+ screen, 400m2 physical digital art gallery and as the HQ of the web3 ecosystem, democratizing the subject to the artists, entrepreneurs, brands, and hundreds of regular people walking in off the street each week, curious about the subject.
🖼️ NFTs bring proof of authenticity and proof of ownership to digital art and so many other things. Digital art has been around since the 1960s but NFTs have added these new proofs into the art itself and further enabled communities to be built around these artists and projects. In the next few years, most art, whether digital or physical, will have an NFT associated with it to prove that authenticity and ownership.
💡 Lots of things to unpack around web3 helping brands and creators create proximity and exclusivity with their customers/clients/fans through digital twins (physical goods and their digital partner), rewards and loyalty programs, digital collectibles, digital ticketing, gaming, music, digital identity, supply chain and logistics...so many amazing applications that are already here but that will grow significantly over the coming months and years.
🇫🇷 🇭🇰 Ecosystems matter and a ton of web3 is clearly being built in Paris and Hong Kong... (hey Casey Lau and HKG DAO, I see you 👋🏻)
Visiting Paris? Come visit the NFT Factory across the square from the Centre Pompidou contemporary art museum.
